Hmmm......maybe they didn't. And how would anyone know without pulling the headliner down? Mine goes in next Monday for "the fix".

 

Because they'd be in for a MAJOR lawsuit if anybody actually gets in an accident.

Would you take that risk?

 

Had mine done today and you cant tell it.

 

Mine's been done, and no wrinkles, dirty fingerprints, scuffs or anything else to be seen.

 

Mine was no big deal either. They said it was nothing more than glueing two little rubber strips up in thr roof panel. I was told that they had already done a tone of Cobalts and that it was nothing new.

 

When I took my 07 LT2 in for the 36000 mile check up they advised me mine was on the recall and the ordered the parts on their own without me having to ask. I think that was pretty good since I have never been to this Dealer before. He told me he would call when the parts came in and it would be about two weeks. He called me yesterday 4-25-08 two days past the two week date and said parts were in and when did I want to come in. So this Mon 4-28 it goes in first thing in the morn. I will post how it all went after it gets done. I went to this dealer because he has a good reputation and the Chevy dealer in my town doesn't.

 

Well, I was out in 45 min from the time I dropped it off. While I was there I bought some oil filters for $5.00 each. They Brought my keys back and said thanks and have a nice day. I looked over everything well and not a print or smug mark anywhere. I am impressed with the work they do and their timelyness. The whole ordeal was not really bad other than having to take it in. I had my front and back windows tinted today and a strip on the windshield(done at a tint shop) while I was out. I'm delivering a dog I'm fostering to his adopters Texas on May 9th. It's a 750 mile trip one way for me so anything to make the trip better. The Adopters are driving 980 miles one way. They are planning on making him a search & rescue dog.
