Don't have much going on at work today so I was searching for any bulletins or PI's for the HHR. I found one documented that said early model year HHR's had non-painted condenser's, but GM decided they looked better through the front grill and with the hood up if they were painted so they changed it mid-year. It doesn't really describe what part of the condenser they are painting or what color, but I would assume it is the front being painted in a silver color.

 

I don't know, I'll have to check.

What does it look like? (Sorry I'm a bit unsure. I had a couple of cars, but I would not know where to look for this one, its not like everyday I look underneath the hood of the car)
