Banged up = MOD UP !!
As I posted recently, I had a lil mishap with a dark West Virginia street and something bad happened to the rear of the Grey Ghost!! See the pic..UGH. Well after discussing it with the body shop, it was cost effective to not only fix the dent but also to do a mod at the same time! WHAT A SHAME !! RIGHT?? So, I took her in and she is under going a transformation. She is being painted as a two tone bottom. It is a black with a pearl effect. I also had them paint the interior dash areas (around the radio and light switches) ...it was only another $50....the same black pearl effect. I am set to get it back tommorrow and will post pics of the finished product then. In the mean time..here is the before damaged parts.

I too would like to paint the area around my radio with the body color.The interior is too boring with all of that grey.Maybe GM might offer that as an option like in the PT Cruiser.Anything to liven things up visually.

well..they tricked me again...alas..my grey ghost is NOT done yet. I was told it would be done LAST Friday...then Tuesday (you know..with the holidays they are busy!)...then Wed...and of course..PROMISED TO GOD..it will be Thursday...and NOTHING! I really want my car back. Im driving my beater 97 Jeep Cherokee...not so bad if it was snowing really bad..but NOOOOOO...can't even get any help there!! haha. I will post pics once I (if I )ever get it back.

Well...I just saw it ... they were doing the final detail work..needed to put the dash in and buff the exterior. BUT...I must say It looks BANGING! So..if it takes til next year...I'll wait! DEFINITELY worth every penny and just itching to get it back all together and shiny...course it will probably snow the next day...ahhhh...who cares!!! If I get it back in time..maybe I'll be able to submit it for January feature HHR.
