Before & After

So here it is, all done from the paint shop. Before and after pics.

So, I messed up my brand new IPCW Bermuda Black tail lights and had to put the stock red ones back on top. Carid.com is going to replace them when they get in stock or refund me. What do you guys think? I kind of like it with the red on top flowing with the red Bow-tie. But I still like the black ones completed like the pic above.

Cool transformation.. Although I prefer the "before" grille from a stock one, cutting out the bars & adding the bars from a billet one, reminds me of an old members ride, Morticia.

I see you had to add a piece on top of the SS bumper cover to close the gap for the non-SS grille.. Cool..

I couldn't stand the billet anymore. Too hard to keep clean and shiny. The new one is actually aftermarket and not a stock grill. I had it painted with the car to match. The bumper is actually a Razzi body kit. Heard a lot of bad reviews and it turns out the guy who did the paint and moding for me said it was a pain in the ass. I did read some other reviews on how to make it look super good, but that will involve removing it and doing some additional work before completely repainting it. I may look into that next summer because there are things about it I don't like.

Got them on amazon. Couple of different brands available between $130 & $150. Just type in "HHR Headlights black". If you don't want the orange lens, you'll have to bake them open and remove the lens. It's just 2 screws holding it in place. The red LED Halos re from FlashTech and run $100. You'll have to bake open the lights to do these as well.

More updates coming soon

I recently had my HHR painted, again, and as soon as I can get some good pics without it raining everytime I wash my car, I will share. The red that was on the top of my car was having some very traumatic problems and the guy offered to fix it free. So I gave him some more work. Here is one photo i guess I can show. Also got new front seat covers from rufftuff.com and will post those too.
