Black Headlights

Good afternoon! I have a set of all black depo headlights on my 09 SS. I'm looking to purchase a couple of sets for some other projects. I've searched high and low and cannot locate any. All I've found is the ones with the amber marker light lens. Any insight would be appreciated! First post but I have been on this forum for a little while!

They are few and far between, you’ll see vendors posting them on EBay and such, but your order gets canceled, patience, they might become available again, or someone will be selling a set from their stash of parts.

I've been looking for a black set with the clear corners for awhile now... when I first bought my HHR (2019) they seemed to still be available, but I waited like an idiot... now everywhere is shows out of stock
I'm afraid COVID cutbacks caused them to discontinue them since it's an aging car model

Same scene repeated ad nauseum everywhere:

”Where can I get them.”

Google wizards post links. That don’t have them.

One or two new or used may surface on rare occasions, but they’re functionally extinct.

It’s too small of a niche to justify a production run. Some folks modify the ambers. But really, aren’t they close enough? Get them while you still can. When they run out they may not make those again either.

Got mine off of E-Bay last year, I had waited a while to find them also.

I remember before the Depo lights were made, we would just heat the lights in an oven to loosen the glue, disassemble, paint and reassemble. The amber lens could be left out at that time. I am thinking of doing this with mine, but painting them red to match the body.

Probably the only option, I’ve researched the link , but don’t want to order those headlights, somebody was looking for a black out no amber lens set.
