Being Eleventeen i don't expect you to know this but... its not the package dude. Its what it stands for. You dont need a fancy paintjob and Fast/Furious stickering like the Red Bull cars to make a nice delivery/promo car. I like the BudHHR for it's simplicity and straight forwardness. No fancy gimmicks. Just beer. The way it should be.

You also have to take into consideration that these are owned by small distributor (Dekalb Dist. Co.) for a specific area (Avilla, IN). The fact that they have 4 in itself is amazing!

Pretty tame, but I'm sure the reason they got the HHR's was to keep costs down. Nice to see them being used though. The more we see of this, the better the chance of it staying around for more than a few model years.

Frankly, it is BAD that HHR's are going into fleets. Fleet vehicles are sold by GM at a substantial discount and are turned over frequently (hence on used lots quickly). This lowers our resale value and dilutes the image. Do you remember the hit the HHR took when the first of rental cars hit the market late last year? Another problem with high fleet numbers for a vehicle like this is that it puts pressure on GM to extend the life cycle and minimize updates because of the expense to upfitters when they have to redesign their parts. This is especially true in the full-size van market (exactly how old is the Ford E-series now?). I must admit that it would take a lot more acceptance of the HHR for my last point to become a problem but it is still a risk.
