Does anyone have a working link to chevy to request the build sheet ? I can not seem to find it with search ? also the recall links both using the VIN

Aren't all the RPO codes for your car on the sticker on the inside of the passenger side glove box?

 

In addition to other info i had no idea was available, my local dealer printed out for me what was basically the same info as on Carfax. Not all dealers are evil.

 

heathenhhr did a vin check for the BlackSwan a few years ago, that showed previous owners, all option codes and full explanations

 

I'll have to see if the techs still have access to that service side of it... GM ran an update on their EPC about a year ago and I haven't found a way back into the service history from my side
(unless you're just talking about the RPOs and build info, cus that's always available in the EPC)

but yes, dealers can pull all this information, it's just a matter of finding someone who isn't a dick and isn't buried in work and will take a minute to help you

the service history a GM dealer can pull for you is mostly complete... if I took my car to Joe Schmo's local lube place, that kind of thing isn't going to show on their history... it's like doctor's offices... theoretically your medical history should all be linked and available, but it depends on what systems and reporting every individual doctor and hospital uses
