Red face Buy a 2007 with over 225,000?

CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2007 CHEVROLET HHR LT

Is this car worth it? Will I end up dumping thousands more in to keep it running?

Is it worth it? Your guess is as good as anyone can provide here. We can't see it, we can't drive it, etc. etc.. and what is the cost of it? If it's a $1000 it is a good deal - if you pay $15,000 - not such a good deal. Sorry man, you are on your own with this.

Will it cost you big $'s to keep it running? It may, and it may not - it's buyer beware, and how can anyone give any sort of educated guesstimate on that.

Well now my answer is hanging in the breeze in that thread.

Why is the dealer asking $1400 more than BlueBook? Are they adding some value; like 4 brand new 70,000 mile tires and an extended warranty?

I would take it to a mechanic I trusted for an opinion. Things to check: hubs (all 4), struts & shocks, Lower Control Arms, sway bar links and bushings, A/C function, cylinder compression etc.
