To buy or not to buy

Used 2006 Chevrolet HHR LT For Sale in Mt Dora near Casselberry & Orlando, FL | 3GNDA23P36S586107

So... Check out the gem I just found. Does anyone think this is one of those too good to be true deals? of course, I would never pay 12,000 USD for an HHR (I love mine to death but, come on now, and a 2006 at that). I would assume if I pulled in a nearly identical model they would know they couldn't give me the run around. What do you guys think of this? what would be a good deal? Should I trade Gregg in for an identical model with 150,000 LESS miles? HELP ME I NEED OPINIONS

Seems way too high a price.

I'd keep looking.

Well thats the thing, I wouldn't ever pay that much and would offer them 7000 cash AT THE MOST on the spot and if they do not take it oh well.

KBB says if its in mint condition its good for $6110, with a moon roof.

That $12,000 is from 7 years ago. When I got my 2008 from , in late 2008, they had a 2006 for $12,6000 and change (more than the 2008 I got).

Based on photos - not the optimal option.
But what I see I like it.
The car is neat and tidy, the owner love it.
Appearance at the height.
Judging by the state seats, steering wheel trim and frequently used buttons - real mileage.
That little piece of the rear suspension, which can be seen in the photo - is encouraging.
The only gripe - soiled seat belt. The former owner too greasy hands. Of course, Dealer has washed the car, brought luster, but .. Alarming lack of photos from under the hood.

Need a personal meeting to listen to the engine, shake the suspension, check the oil leak. After that you can bargain and reduce the price.
In general, the HHR 2006 with funny mileage and in good condition - a rarity today.

I told the wife and she gave the dreaded "NO" answer to me driving down on Saturday to look at it. I will still try to convince her. Knowing how reliable these cars are, passing up one with 30K seems to be silly, I am gonna tell her to at least let me go look at the thing!

Nice low mileage but they are just looking for a fish. Give them the Kelly blue book price to see how much they will come down.

CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2006 CHEVROLET HHR LT: 3GNDA23P36S586107

Come to think of it... look at that Carfax report. The car has only 30,000 miles but it went from Colorado, to Florida, was services in LAS VEGAS? I do not quite understand the timeline. Any input guys?

That doesn't tell you something about CarFax?
I wonder why Florida has a DMV office in Colorado.
