California Cruisers aka ABC Designs BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Don't get too happy just yet! If he credited your account through Paypal using a credit card, which he might have done, he can still do a chargeback later. I don't think he will but I wouldn't put it past him.
Although the description below says a 'buyer', the idea is the same.
Here is how Paypal describes what a chargeback is:
>>A chargeback occurs when a buyer asks a credit card company to reverse a transaction that has already cleared. Although a chargeback may appear to be similar to a PayPal claim, it is actually a process initiated outside of PayPal.
When a buyer files a chargeback, the card issuer contacts PayPal and asks for information about the transaction. PayPal, in turn, asks for this information from the seller. The card issuer uses that information to decide whether to return the money to the buyer.<<

Let him try. I have an email requesting me to send a request from paypal to him for the money. Like you said I would not put it past him to do that and this was just a ploy to prolong paying.

also... if you are not sure of a vender use secure card or pay pal so they don t have a record of your real cc number.. learned that the hard way.
