Being a new owner of a 2009 HHR 1/4 Panel, what catagory do I enter it in at local car shows, is it a Car, Truck, SUV or Crossover?

I know when I was looking at my first HHR, the dealer told me that it was considered an SUV. In other times I've heard people say they thought it was a minivan, lol. When I went to get license plates for mine, the lady at the license bureau asked if I was using it for business or personal use, cause I guess if you use it for business, you have to buy non-commercial plates for it. Hope this helps ya out.

See what class they put the "PT Cruisers", our ugly cousin's in. Usually called "specialty vehicle" here in So Cal.

I'm pretty sure here in Michigan, they classify it as a station wagon!

But I think I saw the definition of a truck once, and it was anything with a flat cargo area directly behind the seats, whether it be outside, or inside. So I think that's how they get away with classifying it as a truck.

i have been placed in the PT group, mini SUV, american compact, and some others. most of them you get placed in with other cars that should be in a higher class than you just cause they dont know what to call it
i sat in line at Texas Showdown in Houston for 20 min while they asked the head judge what to call my car.

According to GM, it's a compact crossover.

Both in South Carolina and here in GA, it's listed as a wagon.
