Chevy oem parts people
So last night I'm driving home from Washington and I'm about a half hour from home on this dark back road and raining like crazy...Needless to say I hit this pot hole must have been a foot deep with both tires on the passenger side ...All my lights lite up advising to check tire pressure Thank god there was a Hess gas station a few hundred yards down the street...Yep bent both OEM chorme rims one tire was flat and the other tire has a big bubble on the side
1.Does anyone know of a site I can get these rims..
2.Should I just take the car to Chevy tomorrow and suck up the $$$$$
3.Or should I just order the rims through Chevy and have someone else mount the new tires and rims
Any ideas

I would look on ebay, I see OEM wheels on there all the time

It will be hard to find the oem wheels being those are the new style. I am sure chevy price will be $400 a wheel which is typical for non steelies. If it were me I would get aftermarket wheels and sell the other 2 good oem wheels on ebay/craigslist.

Consider getting the smaller diameter rim so you have more rubber.

You have 2 choices at this point.Buy used from a private owner or pony up for new GM pieces from a dealer(maybe file an insurance claim?)or Schram's if you're very lucky.GM has instituted a core charge on their aluminum wheels which you'll have to pay if you buy new from a dealership.That's to keep damaged units from getting repaired and being resold.You'd get the core charge back when the dealer got your old wheels.
