ChevyMGR HELP
:)
I have searched on everything I can think of to search by looking for info on replacement keys. I know they are chipped and have found a place offering blanks to be cut and programmed. My question is, is the programming something I can do or will I have to take the key to the dealer?
Thanks

ebay
i have seen some on ebay that say they program for free. i don't know anything but that. also i haven't seen any that have the 2 extra buttons like i have on mine to pop open the electric doors on the panels.
Thanks guys for the quick response
I knew about the FOB being a dealer only programing item, but thought I had either heard or saw in the Owners Manual or in a forum post, the key could be done somehow. Am at work looking at keys on ebay myself and am in the truck today. Didn't have my owners manual handy to check. I knew someone here would know.
Thanks all
