Chips for more HP and gas mileage.

Has anyone tried these inexpensive chips advertized for more horsepower and more gas mileage? I have my doubts that they work but I would like some other opinions. Boydie richboyd"AT"frontier.com

stay away from these, they do not work, they simply trick the computer to think its cold out all the time so more fuel is used and your wallet gets emptied at the pumps, and the install messes up your wiring harness and could short out the ECM

There is a banner ad at the top of the page for a $69 chip. 60hp and 4-7 gallons. Have to wonder

Now it is a Google ad at the bottom????
