Thanks for the reply Sleeper, I went that route already and hit a snag with my grandson's age as a driver even though it wasn't ever going to be alone and he does have a valid driver's license but he's 17..

What a crime aye? ''When I was 17, it was a very good year''... Credit Frank Sinatra's song..

John Ryan

Bummer about the grandson snag. Liked the Sinatra 17 year old tribute. 17 was good for me as well...

Friend Request

Sleeper, thanks for the invitation, I checked the box and I guess the rest just takes place from this point on.. Chevy Mgr was on there too for some reason so I checked that one as well, however it all lands by tomorrow is fine with me.. Last club I was in was the National Nomad Club out of Arvada Colorado in the late 1970's and it might take me a while to learn this website a bit better if I'm on it more too so with that said I joined your friend list and sent Chevry Mgr a request all in the same action..

Regards,

John Ryan

P.S. 17 was probably my best year, just that I didn't know it or realize it at that time....

Wheatgerm- I'm honored you accepted. The rest takes care of it self. When I read posts of someone I find interesting. I sometimes send a request.
As to ChevyMgr, he hasn't been around in many years. I miss him, but I guess he moved on. So don't be bummed if he doesn't reply. Who knows maybe he will.
Obviously he saw something special in you to send a request to you.

Blue- I wasn't sure, since it wasn't directed to either of us. So I took a shot... LOL

Thank you for the kind reply Sleeper. I've been losing family and friends for a while now, just at that age I guess, hope Chevy Mgr is OK and just retired like many of us are these days and not sick in any way.
I remember he helped me out with a few Chevrolet problems years ago, never even ventured into the areas of this website that the friend request brought me to and there was his logo, how I don't know but happy all worked out as it has, even another seems to be happy you have returned as well as I see Oldblue, yet another who is always there to help too..

So all's well that ends well..

Regards,

John Ryan
