Oldblue I have 2 HHRs that I'm dropping the rear on so I may still get yours from you. Ones I ordered are Ac Delco SS cobalt so they should drop it about right by what everyone has said. I hope!

Most of the coil binding problems occur with aftermarket springs that have too many wraps or coil counts. Don't think that will be an issue with the original type GM springs.
For comparison, here's some pics of three different rear springs

The original ones did have coil bind, clunking issues on my car. I have the redesigned ones on now. No problems.

Thanks George that helps, the pic of the ones I ordered look like one end maybe could have a problem with that, but you never know if the pics you see is actually of what you're going to receive anyway.

 

Not really sure what you mean by one end could be a problem.
The coil binding I was having, showed that pretty much all the coils were clanking into each other under full compression.
Too many coils. Not enough space to compress fully.

yes thats what I meant, the springs I ordered looked like the peddars original. I think I got my order cancelled.. find out tomorrow for sure and I will order the part numbers listed above from GM. Do you think it may drop too much? I dont hall much weight.

GM springs should be in anytime, also found some COBALT SS wheels. :)

Will the stock front cobalt springs drop it just a little more than the rear with cobalt springs?
