I know from reading several posts that the Cobalt steering wheel can be used as a replacement but was wondering if any other Chevy/GM steering wheels that look similar will work.

Welcome to the site, there are some models that are compatible like the Cobalt and G5 and some early C6 'Vettes but they all look the same, what where you looking for a replacement or an upgrade to , leather?

 

Thanks for the info. I want to add the radio controls to the 2011 I just picked up and was looking to see if a used wheel might be more cost effective (and give me leather to boot). Found a Malibu wheel and was wondering if that would fit.

Hmm it might , but can't be fully sure, I would stay with HHR wheel, I swapped a leather one from a 2010 into my 2007, the controls clipped in to the harness and work perfect except for the Bluetooth, the BCM does not have the in the 07. I'll PM you if I find anymore info on the Malibu wheel

 

I swapped one in from a Pontiac g6. Worked fine till nighttime, then I remembered Pontiac uses red interior lighting.

 

^^ just have to swap all your LED's to red now :p

 

I'm trying to convince a co-worker of mine to swap my all black wheel for his black/ red one out of his Solstice GXP. Its the only red on the interior of his car other than the stitching in the seats, and I know it bothers him a bit. Sure would look great with my black/ red SS interior!
