Hi

You all dis that car/truck except Lasater, but a few years ago, OK more than a few, I could take that mess and make it look like one hell of a ride. Much of the hard work is done and you have a rear-wheel drive and a V-8.

Oh, this dis is deserved, yeah there is ingenious use of different vehicles it's the execution that is far from the wow factor, I mean if you are gonna do this the door and fender should be straight .
As I've said before, I've pulled worst out of a river and built it, but when I sold it, it looked way better than this!

GMC had an equivalent suspension package.
You are right, but here in MoTown, most that have them didn't get them from the factory...

My former carpool partner had an Extreme, and he was not pleased that all these others had those wheels without paying for the package. I had a regular 2WD ext cab '95 S-10 for 10 years, so I still remember the details, too.

And, Oldblue, YOU are truly a peach!

Now, that is one customized rig that guy is toolin' around it. Bring that thing to Alabama and he could get $4000 for it.

It looks like it is the extremely, extremely rare "Chevrolet HHR for Rednecks". Only one was produced and it is being used in the new "Beverly Hillbillies Return 2015" movie coming soon to a "thee-a-ter" near you.

If one person can install a V8 in an HHR why can't someone make a pick-up?
A brain is a terrible thing to waste.

Exactly Cat Man, the guy probably didn't have the money and/or the skill to finish the job. I hope someone does. Ian Roessell could finish it.

If you are going to attempt a project like this, why half ass the finishing part. Could be cool if all the details were completed.

The concept is great but I wonder how messed up that build is.

I would estimate that 70% of this type of project go unfinished. (And by "this type" I mean very complex builds that take tons of mechanical savvy and money) All projects start out great until you run into the problems that always come up. This is why this project is for sale. But, I will say it again, this concept is as legitimate as the direction I am going with my build. I think this S-10 chassis idea is, the right concept........wrong guy doing it. Sometimes it helps if you are just too stupid to realize that something can't be done .....so you do it anyway. .
