Cupholder in rear

Hi,

Has anyone adjusted the rear seat to include an extra cup holder? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not sure what you mean the back seats do not adjust only lay flat.

Here's how I solved the lack of rear cupholders

I found two of these at Walmart for $5. each. The kids LOVE them. The little tray folds down so they can eat in the car and hold their toys without making a mess.

Thanks for the picture. Sorry if my original note was confusing.

I wasn't referring to the seats not laying flat - I have two children and there is only one cup holder - I just wondered about finding a replacement or adding an additional cup holder. The above picture with product from Wal-Mart is certainly an option.

I am planning to install the DVD players behind the seat though, so I might try and find an alternative for the extra cup holder. Thanks again!

Headrest cupholders and El Cheapo "in-dash" DVD player

We got a couple portable DVD players for Christmas from our family. One of them has a screen that can rotate 180 degrees.

We found that by turning the screen around it could sit in the dash's auxillary glove box and everyone in the car can see it. (our 3 year old could easily see it from behind the passenger seat and so could our 6 year old from behind the driver's seat) This way we could put the headrest cupholders in without a problem.

The player has a remote control which makes it easier to control. We haven't had much issue with sun glare since the screen sits so far back. The glove box cover keeps the sun from making things too hot. This is also convenient to hook up power and audio because it is in the front. The DVD player came with the cigarette lighter adapter cable so that wasn't an issue.

Everything is illegal in New York State including talking on a Cell phone while driving. Of course I never do that either.
