Ed Roth falls right in with George Barris...

 

I remember going to his house with one of my girl-friends (her dad used to hang with him back in the day in Maywood/Cudahy area of LA, he restored Corvairs) to have him sign an album cover he had designed for a punk-band called the Birthday party.

I remember by that time he was a Mormon and was kind of pissed that he got talked into designing the cover--didn't know they were a punk band and thought they were evil looking!
