Cut my wires!!!!

A couple months back I plugged in a converter box to my cigarette lighter outlet
the wires crossed and melted all the way up to the fuse box
so I took off the dash and I cut the wires now I don't know where to connect them back to
I bought a new harness
But it's also cut
I thought it would be as easy as just attach color to color
It's not
now I need to go directly from the battery
all the way through the car
to under the hood
What is that called?
Is it the engine wire harness?
cuz all the ones I found don't go all the way back to the battery

Can you re-type that - as it really doesn't make much sense, and is a bit difficult to decipher what it is that you are looking for.

Why not just replace the 1 wire? You know where the ends are, that fuse only has 2 connections the 12V aux outlet and the OBD2 port.

Because it melted five or six of them
all the way up to the fuse box
the fuse never popped

What does back to the battery have to do with that? I don't know how other wires could be involved. Why can't you do color to color end to end? You have the harness; remove the wire you need and replace the the burned one.

There is one wire from the fuse box to the battery.

I am so confused!

At this point you might be well advised to take it to a professional to do the repair. A mistake on your part could well end in a major fire.

Send a PM to hellshotrod.

Won't fit into which computer? Which harness?

Not so difficult to find your own thread of the same title.
