I am very curious. My Certificate of Origin is dated 06/07/06. VIN is 673607. Does the date on the Certificate of Origin coincide with the build date in GM's records. Thanks-Sunburst Sam

Maybe he read an older post. I went back thru my records and did find 2 other HHR's with a build date of 5/24/06 ?????

 

Hi Sam. I checked your VIN and the build date on your HHR is 6/7/06, so maybe it does.

 

Thanks for the reply. Just to show you how crazy this HHR owner is, when I took delivery of my factory ordered model, the clock and radio had not yet been set.

By scrolling to the time and date I was able to calculate back to the exact build date and calculate the exact time that the car was first energized on the assembly line!

DATE OF BUILD: JUNE 6, 2006
11:38 P.M. CDT

Since I assume the car was built at the end of the shift on June 6th, the Certificate of Origin was issued, probably early the next morning, June 7, 2006

Sure, your HHR was built 9/30/05. From what I can tell, the first HHR was built 4/22/05 and was designated a pilot vehicle.
