Don't the amber lights come on as well when you turn on the fog lights?

Amber lights go dim when fog lights are turned on....I agree, would look cool if they were both on.

i dont have factory headlights but on our Nox, if you turn on the fog lights the low beam headlights and running lights are on.

I don't have factory FOG lights, so I can wire it up how I want to.

The running lights do dim with the fogs, but mine are still bright enough to be seen from a distance.

I also run when I rember with just the fog light and of corse the running lights on.

I like the auto feature...one less thing for me to think about and I love just turning off the HHR and getting out,not having to turn everything off...ahhh, technology helping me to be even lazier!!!

I don't know.......hacking wires, disconnecting important stuff. The DRL's were invented as a safety device. It helps you be seen. I would never disconnect them and I am glad most manufacturers have them.
