Dealer Posters
Never too late to start...brochures are very collectible too, just need a dry place to store all of them for years until they are wanted...I bought one a few years ago for my 1968 Impala that someone kept like new for 30+ years.
I went to my Dealer today--the Manager said "damn--I just trashed them all a few days ago"..
He added insult to injury by telling me that they had "sat" in the meeting room, on a table, for 2 weeks before he threw them out...
I started to volunteer to go dumpster-diving, but he said "too late--already picked up"..
Oh well--next year I'll try again!!

Don't feel bad I knew one on the Managers of the GM Parma Stamping plant in Cleveland.
He had me display my Fiero in a tent with a few of the GM show cars for their 50 anniversery.
I was parked next to one of Dale Earnhardts Goodwrench cars and the Red Intimidator Show car Monte Carlo.
We got to sit in a play with the cars during the event and had a lot of fun.
I saw him a month later at our car club meeting and he asked me where did I get too after I pulled my car out. He said they needed the Goodwrench car and Intimidator car moved to the other side of the plant and no one knew how to start the Cup car. He knew I was a fan and if I could start it he would have let me move it.... I said don't tell me that. He also said I could have drove the other one too and that just made it worse.
Then I said I wish I had one of the Pontiac flags on the tents. They had multiples of GM divsion flags on each tent. Then he told me I should have asked as they threw them all out. He said you could have had them all. Again not what I wanted to hear.
At least I got the pictures of my car and the others together and als me sitting in them.

Sorry on the size but I have only used the scanner once before.
The red car is the prototype of the ne Monte Carlo. It was called the Intimidator
And my Fiero infront of Dales car in the tent. I was parked about 25 feet back and pulled it up for the photo.
Then there is me in the GW car. It was getting dark as we could not get into the cars till the public was let out.
I was a little worried leaving my car in Cleveland for 3 days in a tent even with GM security. The Mayor and Govener was there and the Mayor wanted to get some pictures of him sitting in my car but I had it locked and was not there yet. That was ok I did not want him in my car anyway. It also made the 6 o clock news.
It was a fun few days and got to tour the plant and meet some cool people.
And my Fiero infront of Dales car.
Now if I can find the photo of me in the Spirit Of America Sonic one jet car. I got to sit in that when I was about 7 years old.
I was a gear head since I was only 3 years old.
