Off the lot. Had to be ... needed to get my Impala traded off quickly before the transmission quit totally. On a previous trip to the dealer (about 6 months prior) they had a beautiful 2LT, black with the cashmere interior, fully loaded. I went hoping to find that car or one like it. Mine was sitting in a row of 20 or more HHRs, and the teal really stood out amongst the white, red, black and silver. There were no other colors (no orange, blue or sandstone). I loved the color, but figured it would probably turn out to not have anything I wanted on it. WRONG! It was very nearly perfect. What it was missing, I could add (and have). That was December 23. I had to wait until the day after Christmas to pick it up.

August 2005 and I had the fever - bad! I was chasing new car haulers all over the Inland Empire (SoCal), always arriving just a little too late. Happened to be driving by Diamond Auto Group in Beaumont and they were unloading Hharry, which hadn't shown up on the G.M. tracking site (and Diamond didn't know was coming in). It turned out to be a great company to do business with. No games; no lies. They didn't even to try to charge me a premium above the MSRP as many dealers were doing - Hharry is the only car I have ever paid full list price for (and was glad to do it).

The answer is yes. Ordered my 2006 2LT, but bought my 2008 SS of the lot. So do I pick ordered or lot??

Off the lot.
Wanted a black 2LT with a stick. Gas was $4.25 a gallon and my Firebird wasn't selling. Dealer had two dark Blue SS's and a light blue. No one had the base HHR in WNY.
Drove the SS and couldn't imagine driving anything else after that. Dark Blue was good enough for me. Stupid thing is that my wife's Honda is dark blue as well.

Oh well.

Our first was an 06 Spring Edition brought off the lot because it was the first we found with a manual transmission. My 09 SS was the first order for that model year out of Marathon Chevy in Summerville, SC. Then the wife traded in the Spring Edition for an 09 LT off the lot at Marathon Chevy.

I tough Marathon closed down? I bought mine at the Marathon in N Chas. For some reason they could find it, but the one in Summerville couldn't.... And I lived in Summerville.

Had to special order it as they could not find a 2LT with a manual transmission in California. The dealer I bought it from has 2 lots with showrooms about a half mile apart, but did not have even one HHR on either lot at the time.
