If you are referring to these small plastic things:

They don't always work:

I've had those on all my vehicles but one....my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. Almost 3000 dollars in damge to that by a deer. Definitely worth the $5 - $6 dollars they charge at Wal-Mart for those nice little whistles.

The metal is so thin on these cars it looks like crumpled foil when damaged.

Great for the PDR guy though.

Enjoy a brand new front end, although that's a hell of a way to fix rock chips...

Someone told me about that after I told them that I NEARLY hit a deer on a dark road one night driving home from a gig. Since I moved here in the country 4 years ago, I've runned over a poodle, a cple of sqirrels, a partridge, a 'large' dog, misc 'suicide' birds, and a close call with a huge buck with the old Buick. Geezzzzz, and I LOVE animals. Anyway, good luck with your front end
Can we call you the mass run-em-over artist?

Well, I had 2 on my HHR when I hit the second and third deer, but not when I hit the first.

As they say, "sometimes they work and sometimes they don't!"

I have my second hood, left fender, windshield and headlight. Rr Pass door skin and Rr quarter. The PDR to the roof is starting to show slightly.

Daton, yours looks as good as new again...

Yeah but the last time I washed it I didnt have any chips yet.

I'm more worried about the damage under the hood.

i'm convinced it is the stupidest animal, i have hit 2, once in a van. It literally ran into me not the other way. The next time was in my buddys suburban towing a boat. the thing slammed into the driver tide door and ended up slamming into the boat and righting it off! Stupid Bambi!
