I have a build date of 4-3-2006. Does anyone have recent history about how long it takes to get your car after it is built, to the midwest?

 

The average has been anywhere from 2 to 3 months. Some have received there in less time than that. it all depends, I guess how soon they can get it off the assembly line and up here from Mexico.

 

Mine was built on Aug. 4th and it showed up at the dealer on Sep. 23rd. My dealer told me that sometimes the cars get lost for a week or two as in my case. He said they get lost in the lots where they are held after coming off the train.

 

Mine took a total of 7 1/2 weeks from the day it was ordered. Another guy ordered his a week and a half after I did and got his the same day. The wait is tough, but well worth it. I love my HHR, the more I drive it the more I love it.

 

I think they are gettting faster now.

Mine was built on February 15. It was shipped on February 21. The dealer received it late on February 27th. I picked it up on March 1 (but if my schedule allowed, I could have picked it up on the 28th).

Soooo... for me it was 12 days from build date to dealer receipt. I am in Texas, but I didn't expect it to show up quite that fast.

 

My build date was the week of 3-20-06 and the expected delivery date is 4-13-06 - the dealer told me the tracking number was 3800 - it has been a long wait - I'v ordered Lincolns in the past and they took only 4 to 5 weeks from the date of order to the date I drove off the lot. But when you have the best is ok to wait.

Another white HHR to the family. Excellent! I think you're only the 3rd or 4th person on this forum that has gone with white.

 

Geez. Some of these people will be getting their HHR's by the time I finally get mine back from the body shop. They first told me 7 to 10 days. Now they're saying should be done sometime next week. So an overall total of 3 weeks it will be in the body shop. Better have done an absolutely PERFECT job ugh! Can't wait to get my HHR back. I sooooooo miss the cruisin'.

 

Maybe they just drove it across the border, so it didn't get lost in transit.
