That sounds like a great trip on your employer's dime. Glad you got time to see everything. My business trips are never that good. Wash D.C. in January just isn't that much fun!

 

I just have to reiterate if you have not visted Colorado you are missing out on what could possibly be some of the most beautiful country in the good ole US of A...Rocky Mountain National Park rivals Denali in Alaska......it is that awesome (well Denali has McKinley which is the most awesome natural creation I have ever witnessed but the Rockies are very cool)


We will be sure to head out that way again...I have about 8 years before I'm forced to retire from the service bu will do my best to get out to Peterson again

We weren't able to see Rocky Mountain National Park because of snow while we were there. We were able to go to Mount Evans, and the view around there is unlike anything I have ever seen. I love to look at all the pictures we took to remind myself just how beautiful the Rockies are. Goose, you are so right, everyone who has not seen the Rockies has to take the trip, the view is stunning. You will not be disappointed. I'm ready to go back, just don't want to see any more hail storms for a while .

 

Mt Evans was one of the few things we were not able to do because of time. But I'm sure we will make an effort to get back there and be sure to do it. It looks awesome!
