Do all?

I just picked up my 2011 1LT last Saturday,I know a dumb question, it did not come with a key FOB, It has power locks, seat etc. Do all 2011 1LT with power options use a key FOB? I searched the web but can not find a answer,, My salesman boss told him some come with them some dont so how do I find out if I can pop the locks with a remote?

Thanks alot!

Rich

you would have to program a fob to your car i believe..but thats odd, pretty much every new car comes with a fob

Look on the glove box door for the RPO list. If it has the code AP3, you should have a key FOB (2), I believe. At least, that is according to the RPO list that ChevyMgr posted for 2011's.

If it's listed, I would then place a slight argument with the dealer and see if they will supply one, or 2....as most all new comes come.

Radco. Didn't we cover all this in your previous thread on this subject? I didn't want to repeat the same info I gave you.

im shocked that a 2011 vehicle and the LT doesnt have a fob, its not even the base model..my 08 LS came with fobs, thats odd that yours didnt. Maybe its an option that the original owner didnt want, which is ridiculous if you ask me lol

Was the original owner a rental agency? They may hae done a FOB delete on the order. But I think anyone can do the delete, if they wish.
