Question Do I have and odd HHR?

Hello all,

I just got a new 06 HHR two weeks ago and was wondering if I have an odd one with the options it came with. Here is a break down of the options:

LT1
2.4 L
Sport red metallic
Bright Chrome package w/ exhaust tip
Aluminum wheels (not the shiny chrome ones)
Gray leather interior (seats/steering wheel/shifter)
Heated seats
7 speaker stereo with XM
Remote start
Premium fllor mats (of which the drivers side was missing. I had to fight with the dealership to get a replacement. I recieved a full set out of the deal, now I have 3 extras)

Does anyone else have one with similar options?

Also, I added the factory splash guards and some invisible masks stickers to the rear doors tonight. They were getting pretty beat up. Hope they help.

Thanks,

Scott

Sounds pretty common to me. No out of the ordinary options.

Those are options available on the LT series. And look at protecting the rear doors and fenders also the rocker panels if you do not have runningboards or look into getting some.

But WELCOME to ChevyHHR.com the place where the points don't matter, yep like a hooker in a jail cell..

That's not odd at all. Soounds like a pretty well equipped HHR to me with the 2.4 on a 1LT. Sounds like you don't having running boards, which I would get as soon as possible. From what you are describing you're getting the dreaded sandblasting that happens without them. There is a TSB that deals with getting the paint repaired, but most people have had to pay for the running boards and install unless they do it themselves.

The paint chipping TSB is on the Problem/Service Issue boards HERE at the top on a sticky for the bulletins. To read more about the paint chipping issue, go HERE and you will find a pretty big discussion to the tune of 281 posts

to ChevyHHR.net....the number one place for anything HHR. We look forward to getting to know more about you and your HHR.

I don't mean odd as in bad. Maybe the other HHRs I looked at were either loaded or plain jane.

I guess running boards are in the future of my HHR.

Thanks!

The ones from Chevy don't go low enough to get any serious protection from them. Others have made their own though.

I was just about to order a set to protect the car, guess I won't. I just don't care for the running boards
