I have once. But when my '93 Ranger was in it's first few years, I got it all the time. Someone (I must have been behind) even kicked in one of the lights once.

Bad headlight alignment out of the factory is not uncommon. Many 2004 GTOs had headlights practically pointing into the ground. Fortunately the aiming instructions in the HHR manual are very good.

We were brighted several times while towing a heavily loaded trailer which pushed down on the back of the car and raised up the front a little. The thing that sucks is that at the time my high beam relay had wiggled loose so I couldn't "correct" anyone. On the other hand, I've noticed that the HHR headlights are pretty damn good considering they're not on a luxury car and/or aren't projector lights.
