Doin the HHR wave thing...

I have started waving at other HHR owners I see on the road and have sadly noticed not too much participation.
I am out to change this and would love to get other HHR owners on board.

however I have noticed a few that wave back and let me tell you the Grille is the give away...

If I see a painted or modified grille coming at me I just know there is a wave on the other end, and happy to recieve it.

and yes my other vehicle is a JEEP...LOL.
I beleive we have a special group of owners for a very special car, please join in.

Good Luck....

Been attempted since this forum and the HHR started. Obviously not been successful.

But most owner have HHR for grocery getters and are not enthusiasts. Maybe another year or two, when you young guys buy up all the used ones.

Sadly 90% of HHR owners just have a car. If you wave at them , They might report you . But i agree , The few waves i have gotten , Have been from modded HHR's .

I'd wave if you passed me.

It's a funny thing. I work for the school board. We all have our school board vans we drive. We all wave to each other. Bus drivers wave, take your boat out and you get waves, among others I can't think of. But you get in your personal car and the middle finger is the wave you usually get.

Some of the HHR owners around here are so oblivious you would have to crash into them and then MAYBE you would get their attention. Everyone else however looks at my hrrse no matter what they drive. Go figure....

Could be that they are enjoying their ride too much?

True. I've passed right by my father in law many time. I'm flashing my lights and practicality hanging out the window and he never see me.

Maybe it's like selective hearing. Selective seeing.
