Is there a way to adjust the time that the dome light remains on after you exit the car? I'd like it to turn off sooner.

Thats not one of the things that can be done through the DIC. I sure wouldn't have any idea how it could be done.

 

The owners manual doesn't say anything about the time being adjustable. Mine only stays on for 20 seconds anyway, which I don't consider excessive.

There's a switch on the dome lamp itself that allows you to turn it off completely . So apparently you have a choice between 20 seconds and no lamp at all.

If the twenty seconds bothers you, just turn it off altogether. If you occasionally need the lamp for something, just reach up and turn it on with the switch.
