Question Dream upgrades?

I am putting this in General because it doesn't just apply to performance. It doesn't just apply to appearance. It can be anything, so this seems to be the best place.

I have a buddy in L.A. who has been in the custom part business for quite a few years. He has a good business making parts for Fieros, Harleys, and boats. He called me the other day and said that the Fiero business was slowing down and he figures the HHR is the next hot thing.

First off, he wants to use my HHR as his test bed to see what all he can do. (Good news for me!)

Second, he wants my advice on what kinds of things he should be thinking about.

We've already talked about all the usual stuff... CAI, springs, big brakes, turbo, etc... One of the things that I think would be nice would be adjustable coilovers instead of lowering springs.

Any other things that I should put on the list for him? He has the resources, money and tools. What he needs now is guidance.

I want to say here that I am not trying to step on the toes of any vendors by asking this. There are enough HHRs to go around and competition to make good parts will benefit the entire HHR base.

Yes, I love my HHR, but I definitely see room for improvement.

I'd like a telescoping steering wheel. Being tall, I have to move the seat back and up. My arms are always extended fully. It would be nice to be able to rest them on the arm rest. Oh yeah, I'd like longer armrests also. How about a modification to the visors so they actually go all the way to the window. When I put them down, I end up blocking most of my view. One more thing. A carpet that attaches and covers the back seats when they are folded down would be greatly appreciated by my dogs. They just can't get a grip on that plastic! Thanks!

I'll second the rear spoiler...like the other affordable one we've been trying to get. Maybe he could even sell them already painted with factory colors.
