I guess they changed the way the DRL work between 06-07.

My 07 when you put it in gear in the daylight - headlight switch in auto. The headlights come on dim. I seen a 06 behind me today and only the parking lights were on ?

Is what I said true? The differance between 06 and 07 DRL.

I think he means the turn running lights.

Yes, the did change the day-time running lights on the 2007s.

 

I believe "position lights" = "park lights"...at least that's my interpretation.

 

I can`t recall seeing a HHR with dimmed headlights on.

 

Yup, the 07 DRL are dimmed headlamps OR you can use the foglamps w/park lamps.

 

I'll have to ck the wife's in the AM! I was just thinking that she had lights on all the time.

 

If you have fogs and turn them on during the day the DRL's go off...I havent tried yet but can you turn the DRL's off by clicking back one on the stalk to auto off? I think this turns the DRL's off.....handy approaching the gate at military bases..they don't like the headlights..especially the Silverstars

On the 2006s, when you turn on the fogs, the parking lights stay on, they just dim some.

 

I noticed that too on mine(07)
For my self i prefer parking light on like an 06 instead of an 07
but i get enony interior
