Got a good laugh out of the gas lid problem.....as I did the same thing, sat in line and read the book. Took me back to olden times when gas caps were hidden in tail lights and behind license plates. Like I have been told when all else fails read the book.

I'm pretty sure the SS does not run on E85.

If you have a SS, it is not a flex fuel compatible car.
Not really sure, why would you want to use E85 in a SS anyway?

Is this a "DUH" question?
You would know that you can use E85 if the car is labelled for it. If it's not labelled then NO.

Because it is amazing, anyone that's really used it and tuned for it can vouched. AKA the Blood of Christ, or the Giz of God.

I understand all that about being tuned and E85 performance and such, but you missed the purpose of my post. I was directing my question to drspock.
I feel like from reading his post that he's not even aware of what kind of car he has.

Blood of Christ, Giz of God? Sorry, you lost me there.

I was fortunate enough to have had a previous car where you had to press on one side of the gas cap cover to pivot it out of the way... so I just started pressing all over on the HHR the first fill up and I heard it click like a Bic... lol
