Always good to have booster cables, but remember our cars need special consideration as the battery is not under the hood. Hook the positive to the bolt under the red cover on the fusebox, but ground to the strut tower as indicated by the label. I have also jumpstarted by connecting to the battery in the back beside the spare tire. So in a way its easier as we can connect to either the front or back of the vehicle.
As for carrying a spare alternator belt, good luck changing it roadside if it breaks. You need a special tool or a very thin 3/8 ratchet (none of my 3 would fit) as there is very little room at the side of the engine. I actually used a floor jack and long extension braced up under the belt tensioner to raise it.
I also carry a standard roadside kit of sockets, allen keys, screwdriver bits etc, only used it to take off the intake/air filter. First aid kit is a good idea too.

A good back-up is an air thief to transfer air from good to low tire.

Good one blacky!!! Now you have two low tires. First you start telling people to drill holes in their thermostats, and now this. Please think before you post.

So true whopper.
Just carry a 12 volt compact compressor for those tire problems.

My number 1 "tool" to carry is a cell phone and charger.

The only problem with a jumper cable is you must have another car to jump from, try it on a lonely road with no traffic.
