The End of the HHR

Well after reading various threads regarding the future of the HHR, I went straight to Chevrolet and received the following response;

"Thank you for contacting Chevrolet and for your interest in the 2011 HHR! We appreciate the time you have taken to write us. We attempted to contact you by phone, but we could not reach you. Our resources actually show that 2011 will be the last year for the HHR. The 2011 HHR Panel will continue to have only the driver and front passenger seats.

The 2011 HHR is scheduled to begin production on 6/7/2010 and will last until May 2011. Vehicles generally begin arriving at dealers about 6 to 8 weeks later. Please keep in mind that production (beginning and end) dates are preliminary and subject to change. The new vehicle sales manager at your preferred Chevrolet dealership is in the best position to advise when the 2011 HHR will be available in your area."

Kinda' sad, but inevitable I guess. So get'em while you can.

Yep we were lucky. Sad to see it go. We first really liked the LT we drove for rental last year. We fell in love with the SS. But nice to have the last year made though

Yes, it is in a way. On the other hand, we own a unique model that will probably never be repeated.

End Of the HHR

To be perfectly honest, I was genuinely surprised when GM introduced the HHR in the first place!

It was nice while it lasted..
