What's funny is that one of the first posters that put this product down, actually put not one, but two on his HHR and swears they make a huge differance.......

I kid you not.

I just routed the air intake hose into the passager cabin and jammed the thing in my girlfriends mouth and got a major HP gains as long as she was running mouth. Tomorrow I'll make her fart in it... that should work like nitrous.

In theory it is really a great idea. I actually thought about it 30 years ago when turbos first got big. I helped install one on my friends 76 280 Z (I was vice president of a Z club here in NY). But I never cared for the added restirction to the exhaust, nor the increased underhood temperatures. Supercharging was nice, but took HP to run it at low RPM.

An electric motor would be the perfect solution. Once technology advances enough to make the right motor, that is. For now, though, it would take a huge motor and the current drain would require added battery, monster alternator, etc.

This is true, but for some reason no dyno's are available to prove anything, the local dyno shops are always too busy. Just the ol' seat of the pants dyno which is rarely wrong right?

If you look hard enough, you can find a way to get a dyno run. AT nothing else, a G-Tech properly set up. THere have been Numerous test done online about these things. As already stated, to get one to actually perform, the electronics on a car would have to be severely modified to handle that type of current. A boat bilge pump just won't do it. Butt dyno's are rarely right. It's the mind telling you you didn't waste you money.

funniest thead ever on chevyhhr.net.

As a side note, I've heard that if you dangle a tasty carrot in front of your HHR, it will make it go faster, just like a mule.

Yes, and you can park it next to your FJ Cruiser, Honda Civic, Jetta, and the four other cars you're gonna get.
