Experiencing Cupholder Problems: Solutions, anybody?

Well, I can't say I wasn't warned. Just got back inside from cleaning up a hot chocolate spill in my 2009 HHR LS. Been working all night. Could have done without the hassle. But hot cocoa gets sticky pretty fast. Problem seems to be when I wear a certain longer jacket, the right bottom edge of it along with the zipper handle somehow pull the lids off my hot beverage cups as I'm driving along unbeknownst. I know, I know. Don't wear that jacket. Haha. But seriously, solutions - anybody? :)

Not a reproach to be told ..
A unique global solution - STOP EAT IN CAR. This is a bad habit. Those rare occasions when I had to do it (3 or 4 times in my life) ended with the advent of crumbs and grease. Disgusting. This is especially true for America. Guys, you are living in private homes! Crumbs lured the rats into the car. These creatures crawl out of your basements and go to live in your cars, and then they die and begin to stink.
Well, if you already have the dirt - stealing "dishwashing liquid" from his wife. The interior of the HHR is not have materials, not subservient Ferry.

Now now, Davids8560 is a new member just looking for some help, so I know this was all in good fun, I havn't worn his coat but I have driven miles in an HHR just like his, I went with the stainless steel screw on lid insulated drink mug from Stanley works great washes up nicely in sink or dishwasher, and no more liquid mess on my console, gear shift area, carpet, well you get the picture, I hope this helps David!
