The first one was based on looking at this VW.

I'm still messing with shapes.

I'll post pics when I decide on the final design, and then once cut, and installed. Still gotta add a cutout for the third brake light as well.

That's a sweet bugs there. I like the second design since it is on a heritage high roof.

I made the second design with a wider flatter bottom thinking I'd be able to see out a little better. Still Revising them all until I like what I have.

Forgot, I'll need the brake light cut out to allow for my reverse camera mounted up under the third brake light.

1949 Panel

Really like the vintage Adolf bugs ..

Ok, as most know, real deal looked like this, which I think goes more with the squared off shape of the hhr..

The bug split window is cool, but goes better with the roundedness of the bugs imo..

Didn't Pyro already do his in a spilt window ? Someone did, can't remember who tho..

LOL.
I was just thinking last night how cool it would be if GM had offered a barn door upgrade. I think the decals would look cool.

No, he did ALOT of work to his SLAMMING it to the ground. And Two Toning it.

Damn, I forget the members name, I think he still checks in tho.

I remember him having to stop the project and he put his regular rear hatch back on. Funds or Time needing to drive his HHR stopped the project. He did say he'd continue it one day.

Neat project I sure would have loved to see Finished.

I thought about pm'ing him way back and offering to buy the cut in 1/2 hatch to give it a go.

Oh wait now I remember, he was having a tough time getting the glass cut or it was very costly to do so I think.
