Feedback on power vs. manual seat

I first joined/posted last year on buying an HHR as my next car.

After looking at many other cars, I keep coming back to the HHR as the one. However, I just can't get instantly comfortable in the car as I can in other cars. I have not driven an HHr yet as I don't want to waste a salesperson's time, but I'm sure that I would get used to the driving position over time. I spent some time today sitting in two brand new HHR's..LS and LT. I had assumed the power seat would tailor my seat the best but than I got in the LS and the manual seat seemed to lower more and subsequently I was a bit more comfy. (BTW...I'm 6'2 and 280lbs) Has anyone noted any differences b/t the power and manual seats? My current lease is up very soon so I will probably be a new HHR owner soon. (I have to say that the armrests suck tho, lol) Thanks

If I had it to do over again I would go with the manual seat. Another thing if it comes with the big on-star mirror replace it with an 8 inch one, most parts stores have them for around $13.00 and push it up as far as you can then you can see a lot better. Oh yea, one more thing you will probably need to get a "old school" dash traffic light prism ($30.00 on line) to better see stop lights with. Good Luck

Even if leather wasn't standard in my 2LT, I would have made sure it was an option that was a must have. The leather is much easier to clean, especially having multiple dogs that like to track any/everything on their paws when going for a ride.

I like the power seats as it can be adjusted lots of ways. The up and down adjustment is helpful finding the "best" driving position. It is a nice feature if there are multiple divers who want different positions.

I like the cloth seats. No fun while wearing shorts in Florida, hopping into a super heated leather seat.
