Finally did it..Solstice Wheel

I finally bought tires for my Solstice rims.

I bought my rims of a member here back in June. Great site!!. I still had tread on my stock LT1 rims so after putting roughly 110 miles a day I needed some new shoes. I decided to buy them at Discount Tire instead of Costco after months of research. With Costco only having Michelins,Bfg's and Bridgestones all hovering around $800-$1200. I ended up getting a great deal on some Kumho tires for $580 out the door with locks. I went with 225/40 18". I needed a 7mm spacer so it wouldln't rub on the strut plate and extended tip lug nuts.

Sorry for the poor quality photos since it's already 5pm here in Ca. Let me know what you think. I plan on adding the running boards to complete the look.

I like those better than any wheel I have seen on an HHR yet. Where can I pick some of those up?

I looked for some of these initially, but the only ones I found always had the 245 series tires that are too big for the HHR, and they always wanted too much for them.

They look good. But I would have went with the 225/45. I had the 225/40's at first and they were a little too small for my taste.
