2011 with 58,000 miles. 2.4 stick shift leather interior drove alittle over 100 miles one way to get it. all highway on the way home and averaged 33 mpg. running 75-80 mph the tach was showing 3000 at that speed is that normal? im use to running pick up trucks

 

 

3000 RPM's should be normal. My SS runs a Little more RPM because it is probably geared lowe than yours. Glad to have you in the HHR family!

3,000 might be a little high. Did you have the A/C or heat on? From my memory, mine was around 2,700-2,800 when I had it.

 

3000 should be about right for that speed. I wouldn't worry about it.
