For the Lone Ranger, I'd have expected, "silver", "Tonto", or even "kimosabee"

 

I tend to prefer monosyllabic names for machines.

 

I may be wrong but I heard that not long after "The Lone Ranger" went off the air it was discovered that "Kimo Sabe" was actually Cherokee for "horses ass"

Nah. It just popped into my head. I would have gone with "Stubbs" but I already call our cat that, even though its not his real name.
