My 1st mods were free... debadging the rear and removing the bow ties

Gotta say this wasn't 1st but I did it this winter. If you live in a state where you need to clean crud off your rear window IT IS the best free mod you can do

First removed the GM chicklets and the hatch badging.
Stubby antenae
Got the cargo organizer asap - accessory, not a mod but it sure is useful on road trips
I tried to shorten the original door locks but that wasn't pretty so got the stubby door locks
I got the GMPP stage kit done as soon as I could afford somewhere around this point

I knocked the intercooler end cap to pieces pulling onto a rough dirt parking lot too fast.
That's not a recommended mod as the car wouldn't run like that.
Got a stock IC from Crazysteve <--trust him

ohnomobile gave me a heads up for some running boards for cheap on ebay because he knew I was looking for some so that was next
got some black painted Cobalt SS Wheels with snow tires on them in November and just swapped the stock tires onto them until next winter
Sold the stock SS wheels because I like the CCS in black better

I'm going to paint the calipers ceramic black (Eastwood) when I get motivated
I'm thinking of blacking the front/back lights and reflectors

Make a plan before you start so you don't have to undo/redo

First series of mods were mechanical- New discs and pads (the stock ones are just awful), front struts and intermediate steering column replacement (for my peace of mind). Looks- Painted bowties and wheel center caps, stubby antenna, grille, spoiler. Putting on a CGS intake in the next couple of days. Will Trifecta tune soon thereafter.

Dealer added the spoiler and running boards before I picked it up, but since I requested them that would be the 'first' mod.... First I did myself was the pinstripe tape scallops and nifty light up exhaust tip.... Wife did the front bumper mod on a curb, and some stuff in my boat did the passenger side mod during a windstorm....

Just pulled the hatch badges today, and the GM chicklets last week......

It's a start.
