1949 "StyleLine" deluxe. If it is a coupe then it is a VERY collectable car.

Thank's for sharing the pictures.
You said you were out doing propery inspections.
Are you a home inspector or a code enforcement officer?

the nieghbors had plenty to say about him.. he use to live in this house but moved to another.. and needs to do some repairs to this one before he can rent it or sell it.. it was the firtst house on this street 20 years ago.. most everything else is 10 years or less.. it is an eyesore... it is prim for flipping if he would sell it at the right price..

I hate to sound like I know more than the owner But I agree with Jeffs396

It has to be a 51, unless he has changed something.... 51 was the only year to have Vent Windows & Turn down handles.
That's what our GMC is... 1951

For that body Style Turn Down Handles were 51 on back & Vent Windows 51 & up.
Push Button Handles on 52 up

Just a little tidbit of info for ya

That's a pretty good looking truck for it's age, Thanks for sharing the pics

And here is a pic of my '53 Chev. I owned this when I was stationed in Missouri in the late 70's. Looks like the same front end! Or close to it!
