I am new here and I do not understand GM's thought on the options on the 2006 HHR. I have the 1LT and it has the LS wiring harness for the fog lights.
The Dealer in their parts Department just shows the 1LT harness for my VIN #.
I have contacted GM and they stated the lights must be ordered at time of construction to have the wiring harness for the fog lights. (Bull)
I bought the factory lights and the dash switch before I new that the wiring harness was a LS. The Dealer was surprised that the car did not have the harness and said I would need to buy the 1LT for $177.00.
How many of the owners here have experienced this?
