We had 2.5 inches of heavy rain last night, and this morning I had the dreaded passenger floorboard wetness. I searched the info on the butyl patch, ordered a new piece from the dealer..also the cabin filter was wet and dirty restricting airflow. This place is awesome..

 

It only gets better with time and effort....of course reading helps too.

 

Yep this site is great. And to top it off the HHR is a super easy vehicle to work on.

Glad you were able to diagnose the problem and hope all goes well with the fix.

 

You could have fabbed up a much better patch that what oem is..

Just sayin...

 

I might do that anyway, looking into doing the job this weekend or Monday.
