Congrats, 1 of 1. My only concern when I looked at the pictures was the brake and clutch peddles are heavily worn for 40000 miles hopefully you have no issues. We will have to do a G2G once you get it here.

Thank you All .. and great handle Rainman "1 of 1" .. Your probably right, hope you dont mind if I use/steal it! Ha.. Ha.. G2G absolutely .... Looks as though your just around the bend from my Brothers place in La Conner ... Im up there once in a while. Yeah I also noticed the odd B&C pedal ware ... Dont know?? Anyway finally tracked down the original owner (from Medina) and asked him about it .... he said no problems with anything on the vehicle whatsoever ... He really loved it and took excellent care but traded it in for a Street Rod he couldn't do without at a dealer in Calif. ... then an immediate wholesale to another dealer in KY. Im getting my travel itinerary put together this week ... Im hoping to be back home with it sometime @ 1st or 2nd week in May ... Look forward to meeting you and your beautiful Red Panel. Regards. DRP
BTW ... Happened to see an very nice 08 Mystique Blue SS 5-speed at Bruce Titus in Black Lake available ...

Actually check out photo #13 ... looks like the same odd pedal ware ... maybe just guys with long legs!

Did you get all the original documents including the window sticker?
The 08 has the same ware on the pedals but also has 91000 on the odometer.
Love La Connor.
Maybe we can put together a meet with the HHR Group with No Name we already have about 8 or 9 HHR's 2 SS panels, 3 or 4 SS and a couple non SS's, we don't discriminate. LOL
1 of 1 is right, they only painted 4 in that color and I doubt they we're ordered all the same, mine per GM is 1 of 2 built with the same options.

Yes ... in a fashion. Fortunately the Original window sticker and owner booklets are still with the car but apparently all the original owners paperwork (included in a folder when traded) somehow disappeared. However I was able to call Lee Johnson Chev and the Service Manager was nice enough to send me all the records they had on file for it. I understand about the odd B&C pedal ware but I always go with my intuition .... and I have a good feeling about this car! Anyway im still pretty excited about finding it in the first place and also about driving it 2500 miles home ... Should be fun!! Besides I'll get out of the Rain for a few days!!! Ha.. Ha.. And yeah, a HHR + SS + Panel get together would be very cool ... especially as you mentioned ... in La Conner, a perfect spot for it!!

I have a lot of the paperwork you might want to go along with what you have. Having the original window sticker is huge in its self.
I have a friend in Bowling Green that was going to look at it for me, you just beat me there. Glad it is going to someone that will care for it for what it is. RARE
